Art lovers of Billericay, England and environs have a new art opportunity, and it’s a big one. There are now seven Free Little Art Galleries in town. These tiny galleries are community participation projects — anyone can contribute their art, regardless of age or skill level, and when you visit and browse, if you see a piece you love, you can take it — free!
The locations are shown on this map, and the galleries are online at @billericay_art_trail on Instagram. (and there’s another one on The Meadoway). It’s unclear what happens after the 31st. The galleries were created by and/or at the instigation of @lizzymdart. Great work, Lizzy! You’re an art champion!
