Many galleries welcome people to mail them art. Others are happy to receive your contributions but want you to check with them first. I used to have a list of those here, but it’s been too much of a challenge keeping that up to date. Instead, please open the map full screen on a large-screen device and use the search function with the search term “xm” to find galleries that list addresses you can mail to, or “xq” for galleries that accept art by mail but want you to check with them first. From there, you can zoom in on the highlighted entries in a geographical area.
Before sending mail, please check the gallery’s Instagram feed or other online presence to make sure they’re still operating. If you think a gallery may be out of commission, please use the update form to let me know.
