In collaboration with Development on Richmond Highway, we are creating a Free Little Art Gallery to be installed at Mount Vernon Plaza in Alexandria, Virginia. The Mount Vernon District currently has no known FLAG installations, and this initiative aims to bring more public art to the area while increasing visibility for the plaza, surrounding businesses, and community spaces.
Through this project, we hope to support art appreciation among nearby schools, local businesses, and residents, while activating the plaza as a welcoming creative destination for the community.
I now live n Maine, but graduated high school in Alexandria and my soon-to-be 101 year old Mom still
lives in the house I grew up in. I would love to visit your installation the next time I visit my Mom, perhaps
in September? Let me know when and where please!
