Yesterday’s issue of The Advocate in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, had an article about an art supply exchange. This isn’t a Free Little Art Gallery, but a place to leave or take the raw materials of art. Sponsored by The Walls Project, this not only helps people create without needing to spend a lot of money, but is a great way for artists — by which I mean everyone who creates art — to avoid waste and to try new materials without buying a lot of stuff you might end up not using.
Oh course, we hope some people will use these supplies to create things to contribute to the Monte Vista FLAG on Kenmore Avenue, a few blocks south of Government Street.
